12a Planting calendar for zone 12a

A year-round growing season

Zone 12a (average annual extreme 50°F to 55°F) rarely sees a true freeze, so spring/fall frost anchoring doesn't apply. Planting here follows heat, not frost — plant cool-season crops in fall through winter, warm-season crops in spring. Detailed month calendars for no-freeze zones ship in the next update; meanwhile see the month pages.
